Extra!!! This Week's In- New Winter Time Clothes!

So, as we all know, Fall is pretty much....over. So it's time to kind of get rid of those warm golds, reds, and browns we've been busting out and get with the program! Today there aren't going to be , many pictures, but definetly useful information! So instead of going all black, try using some of the cool tones, and accessories that will complement your eyes. For example, your winter coat: Mine is navy blue, and even though my eyes are brown (curse the gods) I found an absolutely wonderful scarf down in SoHo that collaborated brown, blues, and purples (for my buret)! And they say luck does not exsist... ;-) Any way, I recommend getting a navy blue trench coat from DeLiA*s, because no matter what color your eyes and hair are, it looks good on everyone! All of my friends decided to get one because they love how the blue in it complements her blue or green eyes, and my friends with brown eyes have their super cute accessories to make it work! Also, have you noticed how jeans are getting darker and darker these days? Well, that's the way to go! Try and find a range in dark washes, for example: NYC Tint, Ink Rinse, Boston Wash....you get it. Because they're not only good for the daytime, but when you're going out with your friends, particularly at night time, a dark rinse would look better, plus, they make you look thinner too, if you're someone who likes to watch their weight. Anyway, let's move on to music: Whip My Hair by Willow Smith is a total hit! She is a mini-Rihanna! Taylor Swift's new album "Speak Now" is out, and I'm not really diggin' it. I mean, all of her songs are about some guy breaking up with her, and she thinks it's wrong, or there's a guy she wants but is dating another girl, but of course, from Taylor's perspective, the other girl is a brat. Personally, I think it's the other way around. Taylor, here's some advice: cut it with the guys and write something inspirational that won't get old after you've heard it twice. A Justin Bieber movie will be coming out sometime next year, and Demi Lovato has to canceled her tour tour early to check into rehab. She cuts herself, and has an eating dissorder. But everyone is glad she is seeking help, and not letting the problem get worse. That's all for today y'all, so see you next week! If you would like to leave a comment, please do so! Can't wait to hear from you!

Back to School School Shopping 101:

Alrighty, let's get this show on the road: Since I have false nails on and it's kind of painful to type here's a quick update on back to school shopping 101-

Something you definetly need are boots. Any kind of botts work, as long as you have a good pair of skinny jeans.

Glassy beads and gold jewelry is key...be sure to pick some up while you're shopping!

Bubble skirts: check! Any body type works, espeacially if you have a thin waist.

Cardigans are a major must...espeacially in a striped design.

Checked shirts never get old...keep sporting them people!!!!

Well, that all for today, see you in a week!

Yours truly,

Shopping!!!

Ok, so I've been in my beloved Arkansas....Home Sweet Home, Baby!! So I've been at the mall for the last three days strait. I got a few things and I'm not gonna spend time on talking about it.

But I must explain, mustn't I?

The white and blue shirt is from Aeropostale...It's only $17.00 and so totally worth it!!

The gray and white stiped tube top is from Holister. It went on sale for $15.00 and then went down again by 50%! So yes, it is only $7.50+tax and uber cute!

A pair of amazing shorts that you can check out at The Girly Girl Blog from JC Penny.

A pair of Antique River jeans from Buckle, I gotta hand it to ya, they are pricey, but totally worth it!

Well, that's all I have time for!

Just Got My Very First Pair Of.....

Ok, so today I went shopping with my mom, and there's this store called B-Chic. It carries tons and tons of designer clothing for $150 0r less. So I was looking for a specific kind, but couldn't find it. Then my mom pulls out these jeans for m'wah...and it turns out they were the jeans I was looking for!!! They are Miss Me jeans...and I know I have posted about them before. So my mom purchased them...and I'm so excited! All designer jeans are made for 'the tall girl', so I have to get thm hemmed since I am the shortest thing on Earth! They come in all different washes, stitching, cuts, designs, and destructions. So I will post pictures later of the ones I bought.

Bonjour, mes amis!

For anyone who does not to know French, it means 'Hello, my friends'. So anyway, I'm trying to get some music up here but it's not working for me....but, no need to fret, I'll figure it out somehow. But anywayz, this is a fashion blog! Not a "Dear Diary," blog! So as we all know it, summer is just around the corner, people!! And as all of us gals know it, we must get the latest trends, read the latest magazines, and shop at the most up-to-date stores! So I was shopping in Aeropostale the other day, and found/bought an amazing shirt for those who look good in hot pink! The pics are above. For perfume, I recommend something from Aerie, or if you can find it, Chanel No. 5, short for CoCo-Chanel-Number-Five-The-Best-Romantic-Perfume-Ever!!! Plus, I absolutly cannot wait to get my hands on DeLiA*s clothing! the closest one to me is in New Jersey for all I know!!! I love the denim shorts (so comfortable!) and tanks! If you need something for a low bargain, come back next week on Saturday for 'Great Deals Under $20'. And, if you're going out on a late night walk on the beach, and it's chilly, you might need some amazing jeans from Buckle called 'Miss Me', a brand that is a little pricey but defenitly worth it! So just to wrap this post, I'm researching Gianni Versace, the world famous fashion designer, for a project and am very excited! I didn't want to do CoCo Chanel because I already know so much about her!

Hola Chicas!

Happy Saturday readers and bloggers! So here is today's chosen outfit:
Today this outfit will be chosen from Abercrombie & Fitch, for a nice, fresh, spring/summer look. Just go to www.abercrombie.com.

To start, I found a perfect denim short, 'Rebecca'. It's a heavy hand-done destruction with blown-out holes, cuffed hems, and has fading through thighs. Including, a right coin pocket, and iconic back pocket stitching, it's a Vintage Abercrombie Destroyed Wash, in a midi short fit.

Hey there short shorts! (Forget that cheesy phrase) I've selected a great little short, 'Lindsey'. It's in a rich dark color, subtle fading and whiskered, with a right coin pocket, and iconic back pocket stitching. It's a Vintage Abercrombie Dark Wash, in a short short fit.

For a shirt, I've chosen a pretty 'Vintage Tank', 'Elaine'. It's super soft, a single shoulder style with sheer mesh sleeve and ruffled layers at the neckline. Including a moose embroidery near the hem, it comes in a Vintage Abercrombie Wash, in a classic fit.

Next, I've chosen a Vintage Outerwear piece. It's called 'Mia'. It comes in a genuine leather, it's wrinkled vintage style, and has a button and zip closure. It's very vintage military style, with a button and buckle detailing on the shoulders and cuffs, in a fitted look.

At last, the shoes! I have selected a leather flip-flop, 'Heritage Leather Flip Flops'. It comes in a genuine leather, a logo embossed sole, and a patterned cutout upper with around the ankle tie closure, in a dark brown metalic color, this sandal is perfect with almost any style!

That's all for now, chicas. Au revior! (I know, I like to mix different languages together. Haha.)

Today's Outfits of My Choice

Okay, so today these are my choices of fashion. I hope you like them!
So as you know, spring is coming, so I've picked out some trendy garments that come from your average stores that you shop at.

From Abercrombie & Fitch:
I've found some amazing destructed rolled cuff denim shorts that are perfect for the spring and summer! They are in the 'What's New' section of the website. They aren't too short, but not too long- just the perfect length! They are $58.00
For a shirt to match:
I've selected a ruffled tank from the same section on the website. It comes in six different colors and is only $15.00! What a bargain! Just go to www.abercrombie.com

From Aeropostale:
I've found another great denim rolled cuff short. It is in the 'Spring Break' section of www.aeropostale.com.
Instead of a shirt, I picked out a hot bikini. It is called the Hibiscus Print Sliding Halter Top. It's is perfect for any body type, and it's thick banded for taller people so it won't look too skimpy. I'm telling you, this bathing suit is PERFECT!!!

From dELiA*s:
I have been DYING to get these Reese 7 1/2 inch Jean Shorts. I'm telling you, they are perfect! They come in 2 different washes that are tres magnifique!
For a shirt I selected a floral shirt that comes in three different colors. My personal fave is white. You can tie it in the front or leave it untied without having to worry about if you're showing too much.
What the heck, I'll throw in a pair of shoes too. I found a very cute sandal called 'Restricted Folklore Gladiator Sandal'. It comes in three colors, but for this outfit, I choose the burgundy color because it will bring out the flowers in the white shirt. To check all this stuff out, just go to www.delias.com

Well, that's all for today, thank you for reading, and comment any time for any ideas that I can post.

The Scoop

So here is the scoop for this week:
UGGS are still VERY fashionable for any age.
Layering is SO in.
Blues, greens, and purples bring out a person's eyes if they are blue or green.
Silver accessories for brown hair,
& Gold accessories for blond.
TOMS are comfortable and go with every outfit.
If you are petite, I recommend wearing 'Strait Leg' jeans if you are someone who wears nothing but denim.
That's all for today.

Enjoy the Super Bowl! Go Saints!!!

Pics from Previous Post

This Week's Dos and Don"ts

To kick off the first week of The Weekly Obsession, these are this week's dos and don'ts:
If you're going out on a date Saturday night, I would probably suggest these items;
For a Movie Night Out- Just go comfotable in your favorite Abercrombie and Fitch or Holister jeans that fit very close to the leg. It should feel almost like a second skin, except a little more flexible. If you have a hole or two, good for you. Hole-y jeans are definetly in-style this season. To top it off, maybe a fitted V-neck Tee or a fitted 3-quarter-length shirt. For shoes, DO NOT wear your sneakers. I would suggest the popular TOMS shoes that have comfort written across it. Even better, if you order a pair of TOMS, they send you a pair, and they send a pair to a child in need. One for One, right? I own a pair of TOMS and I'm proud to say that I've helped a child in need. Anyway, you could also wear UGGS, which are extremly popular each day. I never go one day without seeing someone wearing them. But whatever you do (God forbid), DO NOT wear your UGGS underneath your jeans (Perish the thought). But if you do not own any of these shoes, then simply wear your favorite 1-inch heels. Hey, it doesn't hurt to wear heels with your fav jeans, right?
For a Dinner Night- A nice cable-knit sweater dress, leggings, and ankle boots would be suitible. This syle is very in this season. For a bonus, if you're a little short of height, like moi, ankle boots will make your legs seem longer, which makes you look taller. For tall gals, I would recommend the same thing or even a pair of knee-high boots. If you're going to have a really nice dinner date, I would recommend a fancy bubble skirt with a fitted three-quarter length shirt. The pictures are from stores with good prices, just in case you need to go last minute shopping.

Well, that's all for this week,
